How to remove a tag on Android

All users of the Getcontact application have the ability to directly manage only their tags. They can be edited, revised in the settings, or deleted completely.

But there is no way to clear tags that were added by others immediately from your application. But the developers offer a special filtering system that takes into account all user reviews and wishes.

In the Android application, to delete tags in Getcontact, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. You need to launch the Getcontact application and log in to your profile if necessary;
  2. Next, select the blue button with the number of tags in your profile;
  3. The next page will display all your tags. If you swipe to the side on a certain tag, an icon with a trash can will appear for deletion;
  4. Now in the form, indicate one of the possible options why you are not satisfied with this tag;
  5. Confirm that the option you selected is correct.

This form is sent to the support service, where it will be reviewed manually by the moderators of the Getcontact application. A response about the action taken regarding the tag will be sent to the email address you provided during registration. If it is considered truly inappropriate, the tag will be removed from the servers and will no longer appear when searching for your number. This way you can get rid of all unwanted tags.
