If you are starting to promote your business on social networks or want to make money from advertising posts in your public page, you should not limit yourself to just one platform. The more sites you reach, the greater your total reach will be, and therefore your income. Therefore, use different social networks and connect them with each other. You could write a whole book about this, but in the article below we’ll talk about how to copy a link on Instagram from your phone.
Link to your Instagram profile: where to watch on your phone?
Working through a browser is convenient because the page URL can be viewed at any time - just pay attention to the address bar. And the link to any element is also very easy to view - most often just a simple right-click and either “copy address” or “explore element” and a minute of working with the source code is enough. But you don’t always have access to a computer. How to find out the link to your Instagram from your phone?
The profile address is built from “Instagram.com/” and your username. Therefore, it is enough to remember your nickname and complete the URL. You can view your nickname in your account settings - it will be in a separate field. Or we open the main one by clicking on our avatar in the lower right corner and look at the top of the screen. There, next to the check mark, there will be a name. This is what we insert after “Instagram.com/”
2QR or How to save a link to your phone
Introduction
Although the era of netbooks and flash drives is on the street, some of us sometimes have to work for an hour or two on someone else’s or, worse, a “public” computer, be it at a party, at the university or in an Internet cafe. However, when it comes to saving the results, healthy paranoia suggests that it is better to refrain from using your flash drive with valuable data, and even more so - sending files to yourself by email: who knows what kind of cyber parasites live on this computer... Fortunately, in There are many services online that allow you to anonymously upload your files. You don’t need an account, which means there’s no risk of exposing your passwords to a Trojan. However, the question arises: how to convey the address of the uploaded file to your computer?
Existing options
You can, of course, just write it down on paper.
True, you will first have to find it, and then try not to lose it. Unreliable, and somehow undignified, not in the IT way... It would be better to save the link in your mobile phone, which you always have with you, and it’s more difficult to lose it. But typing in a long address from a telephone keypad is not like squeezing pimples on bags, but long and tedious, even with a qwerty keyboard. QR codes, already mentioned on the hub, allow you to quickly and effectively send a link to your phone directly from the monitor screen. I have already described an extension for Firefox that creates a QR code for the current page. Of course, not every computer has FF installed, and installing the extension just once, firstly, is not possible everywhere, and secondly, it’s still overkill. In such cases, you can use online QR code generators (for example, kaywa or i-nigma). In this case, you will have to remember/look for the address of the generator, insert a link into it... Too many unnecessary steps.
Suggested Solution
To simplify the process, I made a small service for creating QR codes.
The method of use is very simple: in the address bar of the browser, before the address of the current page, add 2qr.ru/ and press Enter - and you will receive a QR code corresponding to this page. All you have to do is point your phone camera with the reading program at it, and voila - you have the link with you, you can save it in your bookmarks, send it via sms/email, or simply open it in your mobile browser. The interface is minimal - all work with the service is carried out through the address bar of the browser. 2qr.ru without parameters will display a small help on using the service. The QR code image itself is generated using Google Charts (that is, in theory, most of the habraeffect should go to the mighty Google servers).
Unlike the mentioned online QR code generators from kaywa and i-nigma, 2QR.ru has a short, intuitive address and a minimalistic command-line address-bar interface, works with Javascript disabled, and supports Cyrillic in links.
Reading QR codes
Programs for recognizing QR codes exist for a variety of platforms, including Windows Mobile, iPhone, Symbian, and just phones with J2ME. You can download some of these programs at these addresses: QuickMark (login/pass: habr) i-nigma (to download, go to i-nigma.mobi from your phone) Kaywa (to download, go to reader.kaywa.com/ from your phone mobile) You can read about other programs, for example, in this or this review (in English). You can also view an Excel file with a list of different phone models and addresses for downloading programs compatible with them.
Conclusion
The topic featured 2QR.ru, a service for quickly converting URLs into QR codes. Unlike competitors, 2QR.ru has an easy-to-remember address, a direct interface via the address bar, works with Javascript disabled and supports Cyrillic in links. In the future, if anyone needs it, it is planned to add other input formats: converting phone numbers, business cards, SMS messages and just short texts into QR codes.

Other ways to save a link:
- If your camera capabilities allow, you can simply take a photo of a piece of the screen with a link (thanks NULL, Vodkin).
- If the camera can’t take macro photos, shorten the link using a service like tinyurl, then display it in large font on the screen, and also take a photo (thanks piroJOKE). Suitable for those who do not like QR codes or do not have a program for reading QR codes at hand.
- You can send yourself a link via SMS from the opsos website, if such a service is available (thanks to Ackrite). Passwords are safe, but you give away your phone number.
- Create a one-time mailbox and send all links from it to your personal one (thanks to UpRight).
- Send to yourself via IM using a temporary account and an online service like meebo.com (thanks estum).
- Use one of the social bookmarking services and a separate account (thanks knja).
Upd2: Thanks to shtirlic, who wrote a bookmarklet showing the QR code directly on top of the original page.
How to share a link to your Instagram account from your phone?
We figured out how to copy. But maybe there is another way to share your page? Of course have. We can make a business card.

- Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner.
- In the pop-up menu, click on “Instagram business card”.
- The finished card will immediately open to us. You can change its appearance, but in this regard there are not so many possibilities. By the way, at the bottom there is a button thanks to which you can scan other people's business cards.
- In the upper right corner there will be an icon for sharing the result. It looks like three dots connected by lines. Let's click on it.
- After clicking, a window will appear with instant messengers in which you can leave the received card.
- That's all, users just have to scan the resulting image.

How to copy a link to your account from your phone?
We have already talked about how to find out the address. But you will have to add the link, and this is not very convenient. I can give you two ways that will relieve you of this need. These are tricks; the application interface does not have separate buttons that allow you to place the desired link on the clipboard.
- We ask for a friend. Copying the URL of someone else's account in the application is as simple as possible - there is a special button. Therefore, you can ask someone you know to copy and send you the address.
- We log in through the browser. It's simple - we take advantage of the PC. We go through the browser from the phone, go to our profile and copy the contents of the address bar.
Handoff on iOS
With this feature, you can send any website you view on your iPhone to your Mac. It is supported not only in the Safari browser, but also in other applications - for example, Messages and Bear.
After launching a supported application, you will see the corresponding icon on your computer in the Dock. Click on it, and the site from your phone will open on Mac - and in the default browser, and not necessarily Safari.
apple.com
For the function to work, a number of conditions must be met. Each device must be logged into iCloud with the same Apple ID, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled, and Handoff itself must be enabled.
On iOS, go to Settings → General → Handoff and turn Handoff on. On your computer, go to Apple menu → System Preferences, click General, then select the Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices checkbox.
Why can't I follow the link to my account?
So, let's say you did everything according to one of the methods above, but the resulting URL does not transfer to your profile. With what it can be connected? Problems can only occur if you complete “Instagram.com/” with your username. Make sure you didn't misspell, there are no mistakes and the slash is in the right direction. The remaining methods are elementary, work like clockwork, and it is unlikely that an error can creep into the result. In general, all problems with URLs are associated with errors in the text of the address itself, so checking the correctness of each letter usually allows you to correct the link.
How to paste copied text on Android
We copy text and links in order to save them or share them with other people, so the mechanism for pasting copied links is also standard for Android. We need to press and hold with our finger in the input field until the context menu appears, and then click “Insert” or the corresponding button.
If you want to send a link, you can skip the copying and use the sending tool. To do this, select it and click send, and then you need to choose how you will send it.
How to send a link to Instagram via phone?
To send a link via phone, you just need to use one of the copying methods listed above. After you have copied the address, you just need to click on the “Paste” column, since the phone has already remembered your link. Then you can send it to the recipient.
Copying and pasting a link on Instagram is easy. It is important to choose the method that is most convenient for you. Using one of three methods, you will copy the link, and then all you have to do is paste it or send it in a message. We are sure you will succeed!
