Initial community setup
The Community Description field is often the first one that users see when they join your group. What kind of information can be placed in it:
- Basic information about the company;
- Story about the group, brief navigation;

As for using a group to directly sell goods and services, the situation here is very different from the first case. For example, a large number of subscribers (hundreds of thousands and millions) is not required to generate significant income. The reason, as you understand, is also immediately clear: income from the sale of goods/services is usually significant and you do not need to sell a lot to receive significant amounts.
The considered methods of “monetizing” VKontakte groups are the main ones. We are not talking about others, since this has nothing to do with normal, honest business and in most cases comes down to “machinations” specific to social networks, which are naturally unacceptable for companies.

There are quite a lot of popular groups on VK, but each of them started from scratch in one way or another. Anyone who tried to create their own group quickly became convinced that making a new group popular was not at all easy.
What difficulties do owners of new groups face? This depends primarily on the purpose for which the group is being created. Since we are talking here exclusively about commercial groups, it will be:
- Official group of the company (note: a real real company!)
- A group owned by an individual and intended to generate income.
In the first case, the company usually does not particularly care about the popularity of its own group, since it does not plan to receive income from it, but only uses it as an additional representation of the company in this social network. Comments
The comments widget is a comment block. You've probably already seen this on many websites.
With its help, resource visitors can comment on articles without registration (only with VK login and password).
The widget is configured directly on the specified VK page.
To configure, you need to specify the following parameters. First of all, you need to specify the site for which the widget is being configured. Then - the allowed number of comments. You can set the average value to 10. There is an “extended comments” option. Widget width and, of course, embed code.
Communities
The VKontakte group widget for WordPress allows you to subscribe to community news directly from the site. The widget settings allow you to add participants with photos to the block, or display group news, or the name of the group with the number of subscribers and the “Subscribe” button. Authorization

But you need to know that there are two types of authorization: regular and dynamic. With the usual one, you need to specify the address of the form that will open in front of the user. It will contain fields: first name, last name, photo and others.
With the dynamic type of authorization, there will be a little more fields, and you do not need to enter the address.
Polls
Thanks to the social network VKontakte, there is no longer any need to look for special widgets to create surveys. Everything is configured on the same VK page, easily and simply.
To create a special code, first select a site (or add it if not already added). Then enter the question and answer options. Let's adjust the width. And copy the resulting code.
Recommendations

- who to show to: all visitors, or only registered ones;
- service settings - for pros (you can set different Page IDs for the same article, CSS, API).
You can import comments from a group to the site. Many settings are only available in the PRO version. You can view all comments left in the next tab - “Comment Review”.
You can hide part of the site content that concerns VK users in the “Social Lock” tab.
