White stripes for VK posts, when used correctly, allow you to qualitatively design the visual component of a post on the wall, making it more attractive and giving it a slightly different look. It’s easy to use this add-on in post design, and the effect will be amazing.

What are stripes for VK posts?

These are small inserts of different sizes and different lengths, which are used to separate photos and create more colorful collages. Thanks to the stripes, there is empty space between the images, preventing them from merging and improving the visual component. Below are two examples: on the left is a photo without using strip inserts, on the right is with use. You can see the difference for yourself. The size of the strips is selected individually for each case. For example, in the post below, the insert size is 10x130 pixels.

White stripes for VK posts are often used by editors of communities whose main content is photographs and pictures. This tool allows you to stand out among many similar projects, qualitatively positioning yourself in this market.

In order to increase the effect of the publication, it is necessary to experiment and change the design, displaying not only pictures, but combining them with suitable music tracks, text captions, emojis, emoticons, polls and hashtags. Thus, by playing with the design of posts and tracking the activities of subscribers under them, you can select a number of optimal options, which in the future will need to be alternated to obtain maximum response and profit. It’s just important to remember that the total number of all attached materials should be no more than 10.

What to hang on the wall? Interesting ideas for decor

I decided to share my thoughts, ideas, observations on a topical topic for many: “How and with what to decorate the interior.”

I think many people have encountered this problem: the renovation is done, the wallpaper is hung, the furniture is placed, but the interior does not come to life! And, it seems, there are curtains for comfort, and there is not only central ceiling lighting in the form of a rosette-chandelier, but there are even sconces on the walls, and a floor lamp by the chair is dimly lit for mood! But! But there is no feeling of something like ours, a nest or something!

Where's the catch? Or more precisely: in what?! Maybe put the closet in another corner? Come on! Pull with your husband, pull, rearranged! It's worth the idol, yes it's worth it! I could have stood in the same corner! “Beloved husband, dear! Let's move the closet back! Like this!".

So, re-pulling the cabinet didn't help. Are you looking at the sofa? Nope! You definitely shouldn't move it! Well, you don’t have another suitable wall! And don't look at the table! And forget about furniture in general! Because it’s not about the big things, but about the small ones (more precisely, the small ones), called decor or interior accessories.

Decor is the creator of the mood of your home.

That's what we'll talk about now.;) After all, it is the decor: paintings, pillows, panels, candles, figurines, vases, pendants, etc. that brings comfort to our home. Do you know why? Of course you do! Because we choose them with our hearts: something in us will respond to some little thing - and that’s it: we need to take it, put it on the shelf, admire it and sigh! Of course, I'm being a little ironic. But there is some truth in my words. Things often find us! Yes, yes, they are the ones who find us! And we can no longer part with them. And then they enter our home, live with us, giving us pleasant memories, or simply aesthetic pleasure. But what to do if such cute decorative things didn’t find you? You have to search hard to find them yourself! What to look for? Where?! How many? Don't panic, friends! Don't buy dozens of unnecessary accessories and clutter your home! Now let's figure it out! To begin with, I suggest you look around, or rather, look around your home. You can even take a sheet of paper, draw out a sign and write down: bare wall, uncomfortable corner, lonely chest of drawers, sad shelves. And now we think about the loneliness and boredom of each item!

What can you do to help the wall?

- Hang a picture !

- Fine! Besides the painting, what else can you come up with?

—Photo frames?!

- You are a genius! No one else has a wall like this!

But if you have favorite family photos, feel free to brush off my sarcasm and hang them up! You can also add intrigue to creating a photo exhibition! Let these be photos of different sizes! And they will not be in the same frames, but in different ones - beautiful in both size and color! Let some photos have large images, and others have smaller ones.

What if you diversify the photos on the wall with empty frames, or just three-dimensional figures ? Already more interesting!

Let's experiment! Be brave! “How to experiment? - you say! “You’ll drive nails into the wall, but you won’t like the composition!” So! We don't worry! We’re not inviting the husband with the hammer-drill yet! We don’t drive nails into the wall or screw in screws! Let's use the floor! Ta-dam! I think some people’s eyes are now twitching: “How’s the floor? Should I drive nails into it? Calm down with your nails already! Take photo frames and put them on the floor! Move, mix, move until you get the perfect composition (you can look up recommendations for harmonious wall compositions on the Internet, at least by typing in the query: “How to place paintings on the wall”). The composition has been found! Hooray! What to do next?

- Run after your husband?

- NO!

- For nails?

- No! Get a centimeter/meter or tape measure! Oh yes! I’ll make a reservation, or rather, I’ll go back to the beginning of the action of laying out the composition! At the very beginning, you need to run for a tape measure, measure the piece of bare wall on which you plan to place the beauty, and place paintings and photographs on the floor within the framework of this rectangular piece. Now we return from beginning to end, when we need a tape measure to measure the distances between the frames and the decor. You can transfer the measurement diagram onto paper, then mark it on the wall according to it! Ugh! Now run after your husband with a drill! Just don’t forget about the peace of your neighbors and temporary standards for carrying out high-profile repairs! Even though impatience speaks in you, exhale, look at your watch! It's time to make some noise! Great! “Husband!”

We sorted out the photos on the wall a little! What else can you hang besides paintings and photos? Boots ! No! I am not kidding! Is it true! I have boots hanging on the wall at home! More precisely, boots. My husband wore them when he was three years old. My grandmother brought it from Germany. Imagine what it was like in Soviet times! Boots from Germany! And how they are made! Thanks mom! More precisely, grandma! Saved it! Now they are on our wall! They decorate it, touch us, give us memories, surprise our friends! By the way, I’m not the only one who hangs shoes on the wall! Look!

OK! Paintings, photographs, frames, boots! And also a panel ! “What kind of curiosity is this?!” And you will look here, at the Masters Fair! See how different and beautiful they are! If you look at Wikipedia, you can read the following: “A panel is a type of monumental art, a pictorial work of a decorative nature, usually intended to permanently fill some sections of the wall (wall panel) or ceiling (plafond); bas-reliefs, a carved, molded or ceramic composition serving the same purpose. It's global! And in our everyday life, we more often call a panel a certain decorative element designed to decorate various types of enclosing surfaces (walls, floors, ceilings), and made using various materials such as fabric, plastic, metal, wood, grains and cereals, shells and etc. And this same panel can be made in different techniques: mosaic, sculptural, etc. But for you and I, what is more important is not so much the concept as the thing as such. Let's take a look at these panels using examples:

Beautiful, extraordinary, original! Take note! We are looking for those that suit us! Let's buy! Let's try it on the wall! Let's look at the clock! Calling my husband! Let's drill! Let's hang! We admire it! Calling friends! We admire it! Let's pass by! We admire it! We erase the dust! We admire it!

But! What are we admiring! We also have an empty wall in the nursery and in the kitchen! What to hang there?! Wow! Well, you are alarmists! After all, we still have in stock: metal signs and posters ! Modern, for the “loft” style, and for “eclecticism”, and even for a teenager’s room - just what you need! And funny posters will come in handy in your child’s nursery! Let's take a look!

So! What about interior pendants ?! This is so unusual! Wooden and fabric hearts, little animals, bells, wreaths, houses and stained glass windows! How much beauty! Just don’t be greedy, my dears! Otherwise the house will turn into a museum exhibition of everything and everyone! We approach our choice with a sense of moderation, rationally and systematically! We don't need much! We do! A couple or three! The fourth is extra, I say! We don't take it!

Oh! We forgot about interior letters and words ! They can also add some liveliness to the interior! Traditionally, you can purchase the initial letters of your pet's names! Any letters are allowed! The words: “home”, “family”, “happiness”, “love” - so familiar, maybe you’ll say “banal”! So what! They will look so nice on the wall! And they carry so much good meaning! Let's take it! Let's try it on the wall! Let's look at the clock! Calling my husband, etc. according to the above diagram!

What else can you come up with for the walls?! Yes, everything has already been invented! We hang mirrors and wall clocks , paint using stencils , glue vinyl stickers wall painting artist ! We don’t break our heads over the walls anymore! We did it!

Be bolder! Think outside the box! And the wall will become a reflection of you and your life!

Let's hit the corners already! What are you saying, or rather whispering? No strength left? Okay, I’ll feel sorry for you, I’ll stop for today! Let's put aside corners and empty shelves until better times! More precisely, until the next article! Now let’s accumulate some strength and ideas - and go into battle with the void!

And today thank you all very much for a pleasant time! I really hope that the article was not only fun, but also useful (or vice versa: not only useful, but also fun)! Special thanks to my husband with the drill and hammer! :)

Selecting the optimal picture size

One of the disadvantages of VKontakte is the loss of image quality when uploading it to social media. net. There is no way to completely avoid this, but the appearance of the final picture in a VK post can be improved if you stick to certain dimensions. The optimal proportions for uploading images will be the following:

  • image for the post – 700x500 px;
  • image for external link – 537x240 px;
  • Profile photo – 200x500 px.

If you follow the dimensions indicated above, the quality of the uploaded photos will remain as good as possible, which will help you get the desired visual effect from working with them.

How to share someone else's photo in Odnoklassniki on a computer?

In the full computer version of the site this is quite easy to do. To begin, you just need to open the desired photo in viewing mode, after which at the bottom of the viewing area you need to click on the button with the curled arrow. Next, a pop-up window will appear in which you need to select one of the options:

  • If the user just wants to repost this picture to his page so that his friends can see the image in their news feeds, they just need to select the first option “Share now”;
  • When you select the second option, “Add your own text,” a new window for creating a post will open, where this picture will already be attached, to which you can add a signature, so that in this form with the text you can then repost this image on your wall;
  • If the user selects the “Publish in group” option, on the next page it will be possible to select from the list one of the administrated communities where this picture will be sent to the wall;
  • When you select the “Send by message” option, you can send this picture to your interlocutor in a dialogue.

If the user decides to send this image to another person in a message, a page will open in front of him with a choice of interlocutors to whom the picture will be sent (you can select several dialogs at once). Also here you can immediately add text to this message with a picture, after which you should click on the “Share” button so that the photo is sent to the dialogues of the specified users.

Using delayed posting

The functionality of VKontakte allows you to set a timer for published posts so that they are published at a set time in automatic mode. This function makes it possible to competently plan a publication schedule for a long period (a deferred entry can be made a year in advance), arranging posts in the required order for a certain period of time. This allows you to free up time both for analyzing the group’s activities and preparing new content, as well as for other equally important matters that will always be found when running a group.

A delayed post is created on the wall by clicking on the “More” button and selecting the “Timer” item. Next, set the desired date and time and click “Add to Queue.” The deferred recording is ready.

VKontakte: how to add a poll to the wall

  1. Open your own page, where on the wall you will have a field with the inscription “What’s new with you?” Under this window on the right side there is the inscription “Attach”. Click on the inscription, and from the drop-down list select the “Other” item, at the end of which you will notice the inscription “Survey”.
  2. After clicking the “survey” button, you will be asked to fill out several fields.
  3. Let's say you want to create a survey on the topic: “Where is the best place to relax?” To do this, in the field labeled “Survey Topic,” enter the name of your survey, and in the “Answer Options” fields, enter the answer options proposed for the survey topic. In your case: “where is the best place to relax?”, answer options: “at the sea”, “in the mountains”, “on a safari”, etc.
  4. If there are more than 2 answer options, under the “Answer options” you will see the “Add” item, by clicking on which you can expand the number of possible options.
  5. When your friends start voting, the number of people who voted for that item and the percentage will be written next to each answer. This way you can find out what your friends think.

How to tag a user in a post

There are two ways to mention a person in a post:

1 – just copy the link to his page and paste it into the post. In this case, he will not know about it until he sees this recording himself.

2 – create an active link to your profile. To do this, you need to open any post on the user’s wall by clicking on the date of publication/repost and copy the numbers from the address bar following the word “wall”. If there are no posts on the wall, then you can open any photo and copy the numbers after the word “photo” from the address bar. This way we will get its id. Now we create a new post, put *, after it we insert the resulting id and after it we enter the person’s name in brackets. The final result looks like this: *id11111 (Name), where “11111” is the user id address. We publish a post and immediately receive the result in the form of a person’s name with an active link to his page, and this user, in turn, receives notifications about the publication of a post mentioning him.

Adding an animated picture to a friend’s wall

You can post interesting news, pictures and video files not only on your wall. You can also upload pictures on your friends' walls. We'll tell you how to add animation to a friend's wall.

  2. Open the message field on your friend’s wall.
  3. Paste the copied link there. An animation will appear in the message box. Now the link can be deleted.
  4. Click the “send” button and the animation successfully takes up space on your friend’s wall.

How to make bold text in a VKontakte post

Not in the post itself. Today such a possibility does not exist. Bold font can only be used when designing wiki pages. If you are the owner of a group and not a public page, you can use bold text to design the main news. To do this, you need to go to the community settings and make “Materials” open. After this, the “Latest News” tab will appear at the top of the main page, which is designed in wiki markup mode and allows you to attach photo and video materials and change the font type. But this opportunity is available only for groups and only for one top post.

How to add a picture to the wall

  • You can add a picture to the wall using one of the VKontakte applications. You also click “attach”, select the desired application, and then in the application itself everything is done automatically - select a picture, click “post” or “send”.
  • You can also click “attach”, select “photo”, then you will see a window in which you can select a photo from your albums on the site, or click “upload photo” and select a photo from your computer. Then, when the photo has uploaded, simply click “send”.

Some results

If your goal is to create a visited, popular, active and useful community, approach the design of posts comprehensively. Don’t get hung up on one type of content, use all possible means to develop and improve quality, and then you will see the result of such work very soon.
