A couple of years ago, VKontakte functionality had a software vulnerability that allowed you to write messages in bold (and not only) to another user. A message form was created and the code was inserted several times. The “Subject” field appeared, in which the user typed a message that was supposed to be displayed in bold on VK. Then the codes were deleted, and some kind of space was put in their place. After that, this message with bold font was sent to the recipient (read how to find out who viewed our posts in VK in our material).

Since the VK team is reviewing all relevant news, they have found and eliminated this vulnerability. Now the functionality of this and other similar holes in the VK code is not available to users. What to do?

Often, when publishing any posts on the VKontakte social network, users need to highlight one or more important words. The most ideal solution to this problem is to use a special bold font, which can be used in several different ways.

Relatively recently, the ability to use bold text was available on the VK.com website, thanks to one of the few vulnerabilities. However, today the administration of this resource has completely eliminated the possibility of using bold font in personal messages and published posts.

Despite such prohibitions, every person can use a special alphabet in which the letters themselves have a specific shape. You can find a similar table yourself without any problems, due to its wide popularity.

Among other things, the open possibility of creating a bold highlight is available to those users who have a VKontakte community at their disposal. At the same time, this applies exclusively to the special editor available when creating wiki pages.
