But I want to please you with the fact that there are some tricks with which you can very easily make your comments on any video on YouTube so that they will stand out from the rest. And not only with smart written text, detailed commentary, but also with the design of the commentary text itself.

How to write in bold or other font in VK
Many of us have our own VK page. Here we communicate with friends, read the news, listen to our favorite music, and watch the next spectacular video. In conversations with other users, we may notice that the messages of our interlocutor are written in bold or other non-standard font. At the same time, such a font is not available in the VK functionality, and how our interlocutor did it is unknown. Bold font in VK as a software vulnerability
A couple of years ago, VKontakte functionality had a software vulnerability that allowed you to write messages in bold (and not only) to another user. A message form was created and the code was inserted several times. The “Subject” field appeared, in which the user typed a message that was supposed to be displayed in bold on VK. Then the codes were deleted, and some kind of space was put in their place. After that, this message with bold font was sent to the recipient (read how to find out who viewed our posts in VK in our material).
Since the VK team is reviewing all relevant news, they have found and eliminated this vulnerability. Now the functionality of this and other similar holes in the VK code is not available to users. What to do?

Use services to change text to Unicode
You can write in VK in bold or another font using a number of special Internet services that use the Unicode standard. With their help, you can get a variety of options for your text, including bold, italic, gothic and other fonts.
You must work with these tools as follows:
- Go to such a resource;
- Insert into a special field (usually on the left) the desired text that you want to display in a different font;
- On the right, select the desired font option;
- Mark the result obtained with the mouse cursor, right-click it, select “Copy”;
- Go to the desired field for text in VK, click on it with the cursor, and click “Insert”.

Using these services, you can write VKontakte with various types of fonts in different languages. However, they work worse with the Cyrillic alphabet than with the Latin alphabet.
Choose bold and another font you like when creating a VK article
Bold font in VK is available when creating articles that you can post on your page. To create an article in VK in bold, do the following:
- Go to your page;
- Find the post creation form there;
- Click on the “Article” button;
Click on the "Article" button - In the form that opens, enter the title of your article;
- Place the text itself below;
- Mark the part of the text that you want to highlight with bold with a cursor;
- In the editing menu that appears, click on the “B” button;
Click on the "B" button to make the font thicker - To save the article, click on the “Publish” button at the top and select “Save”;
- Your article will be saved in bold in VK.
Using ready-made styles
The extension allows you to use the styles of other users for various sites, including VKontakte. Distinctive features of the extension are stable operation and the absence of performance problems.
Some themes do not change the default font of the social network.
Before you start writing in a different font in VK, do the following:
- Go to the main page of the add-on.
- In the block with popular categories located on the left, select Vk.
- A window with themes for the social network will open. Click on the one you liked the most.
- Click on the “Install Style” button to apply the design.
- Confirm the action.
If you want to disable a theme, click on the extension icon in the top bar, go to the “Installed Styles” tab and click on the deactivate button.

How to add bold or italic text formatting on social networks? Sometimes you want to highlight your comment or write something important, but there is no official text formatting in YouTube comments, nor in Odnoklassniki or VKontakte. On VKontakte, it is impossible to write in bold, italic and strikethrough font. All VK methods have been fixed. There is some fancy font that you can download and then copy and paste. But I don’t want to repeat myself, look on the Internet.
How to write in Bold, Italic and Strikethrough font in Odnoklassniki
Open the Discussions or group tab, there you will have the “Participated, My, Friends, Groups” tabs. Write a comment and find the “Pen” icon on the left. Click on it and format your text. You can change the font, size, color and bold-italics-italics-strikethrough.
This does not work in the feed, when a quick comment is added, there is no icon there.
