The process of registering a new VKontakte page

All actions are performed on the official website of the social network - vk.com. Carefully check the domain name in the address bar of your browser during registration and subsequent authorization, otherwise you will lose access to your account

How to register on VKontakte from a computer?

If the user does not yet have a personal page, after going to the vk.com website on the right side of the screen, he can immediately begin creating a new profile. To do this, you need to enter your first and last name in the appropriate fields, as well as indicate your date of birth. To confirm your actions, you need to click on the green “Continue registration” button.

On the next page, you first need to select your country, then enter your phone number and check the box next to the agreement with the terms of use of the service. Next you need to click on “Get code”.

As a result, a call will be made to the phone from a special number. In the field that appears on the site, you need to enter the last 4 digits that end with this number and click on the “Send code” button.

Next, the site will ask you to create a password, which will be used in the future to enter this page. Finally, you need to click on “Log in to the site.”

The VKontakte password can contain not only Latin, but also Cyrillic letters, and it must be no shorter than six characters.

On the next page, you can click on the “Continue” button to proceed to filling out your profile, or select “Skip” to immediately start using the social network.

If the user selects “Continue”, in the next window he can progressively provide the following information about himself:

• Country and city of residence;

To confirm your actions, you just need to click on “Continue”, but here you can also select the “Specify later” option.

In the next window, you can enter your email address and then click “Continue.” You can also simply skip this item by clicking on the “Specify later” button. After this, the user’s personal VKontakte page will be fully registered, and he will be taken to the site, from where he can continue editing his profile.

Creating a profile via mobile phone

Registration from a smartphone based on Android or iPhone is possible in two ways:

• Through the mobile version of the site – m.vk.com. The process is no different from the above;
• Through an application installed from the Play Market or AppStore.

Using the application will save traffic and being on the social network will be much more convenient.

How to register VK without a phone number

In this part, I will describe the registration process using a virtual SIM card obtained from the activation service. Such services issue a disposable phone number, which you specify during registration, and then provide an authentication code.

The disadvantage of this method is that if access is lost, it will not be possible to restore the page, since there will no longer be access to the number

Let's look at getting a number using sms-activate.ru as an example.

1. Register. Select the country - “Russia”. Find “VKontakte” in the list.

2. Top up your account with the required amount. Return to the desired site. Click "Buy".

3. A number will appear ready to receive the message. Enter it during the registration process.

We won’t need a form to log in for an existing user yet, so you need to select the “Create account” option.

Important! To fully use the service, you will need a recent version of Flash Player.

The choice occurs once, after which it is impossible to change the number for a specific account.

After this, the system will offer to publish news about the purchase of a virtual mobile number on the Facebook page. This choice is optional, so you can simply click “Cancel”.

After this, a page with a message manager will open. There will be a field in the center of the screen. In which received messages will be displayed.

There will be an update button above it (useful if the message does not arrive for a long time).

To view your own virtual phone number, gently press the “Options” button. It will be indicated at the top of the form, in the “Phone number” column.

It can be selected and copied to the clipboard (Ctrl+C).

Invitation (invite) and via Facebook

The network mentions two methods (conditionally free) - importing a valid account from Facebook (using a VPN) and registering by invitation. Both indicate that a phone is not required. During the writing of the article, they were tested - they do not work, in both cases “sim” is required.

Is it possible to register without a phone number?

It is impossible to answer the question unambiguously. In general, registration without a number is not available. If the user does not enter a phone number, he will lose access to most of the basic functions of VK. Even communication with other users, access to adding friends and joining groups will be unavailable. The listed actions are the basis of the social network, without which using VKontakte loses its meaning.

On the other hand, the user has access to some features without verifying the phone number. This way you can listen to music and watch videos. For these tasks you only need to register to any email. Maybe soon this opportunity will be blocked in the fight against fakes. It is also worth remembering that users who have not verified their phone number are much more vulnerable to attackers.

Registration conditions

Firstly, to register you will need personal information: last name, first name, phone number and age. This is mandatory information, there is also additional information - place of study, residence, interests, etc., but it is not necessary to indicate it. No one will check how truthfully you filled out the fields, so you can register under a pseudonym and take any age. Officially, registration on the social network is permitted for persons over 13 years of age.

Secondly, to create an account, you will need a phone number in any case. Registration by email is not possible. The only official alternative is to log in via Facebook. But to get a Facebook account, you will also need a phone number.

There is a way to register without a phone: get a virtual number provided by a specialized service and use it for registration.

Do I need to register again if access to the page is lost?

If your account has been hacked or your password has been forgotten, you do not need to create a new one. At any time, you can recover your password or change it if it was found out by someone who shouldn’t know it. The only thing you need is the number to which the page is linked. Without it, there is no way to get a new password.

Method 1: standard registration

1. Go to the VK main page at vk.com.

5. Type the password and click “Log in to the site.” The password must consist of English letters and numbers without spaces.

That's all - VK registration is completed! Now you have a new page on the Contact social network.

1. In one tab, open your mail at gmail.com, and in the second, open the mobile version of the VK website at m.vk.com.

2. Under the “Register” button, click on the “Google” link.

3. Select your account.

4. Click on “Allow”.

5. Print your first and last name. Click “Continue”.

6. Confirm registration: print your mobile number with the operator code and click “Get code”.

7. Enter the code from SMS and click on “Send code”.

8. Come up with a password to log in, then click “Register”. The password must consist of English letters and numbers.

Your new VK page will load. To go to the full version of the site, click on “Full Version” at the bottom left.

Method 2: via Facebook

If you have a profile on the social network Facebook, you can register in VK for it. But the page will still have to be confirmed by phone number.

1. Open the website facebook.com in one tab, and vk.com in the second tab.

It is advisable to specify a strong password: at least seven characters, consisting of numbers, large and small English letters.

7. A message indicating successful registration will appear. This means the page is ready and you can use it.

How to register without a mobile number?

Today there are 3 ways to achieve your goal. Each method has certain difficulties and implementation nuances. One of the methods will require purchasing a virtual number, another SIM card or a home phone. Read more about each method below.

Using a fake number

This is the first method that comes to mind. To implement this method, you need to get a phone number that has not previously registered an account. This could be a newly purchased SIM card or a card from a friend or relative (especially the older generation). The next method is extremely simple - you need to enter the fake card number and confirm it via SMS.

If you have a home phone, there is another way out of the situation. In the registration field, you must enter a landline phone number, making sure to include the area code. The phone number must have 11 digits in total. Next you need to click on the “Get code” button. It will not be possible to send an SMS, so the robot will call the specified number and dictate the code.

According to users, any number of accounts can be registered with the same landline phone number. It is worth understanding that you will not be able to recover your password, the phone will not accept SMS, and the robot will not dictate the number when restoring.

Via virtual number

The principle of performing the procedure is completely the same as in the first case. The only difference is that you will not have a physical SIM card on hand. There are special services that sell virtual numbers. These include: Pringer, Kendo UI and others.

For example, you can take Pringer. The service is designed specifically for the purpose of receiving SMS messages with an activation code. Here you need to first get your own phone number, for which you will have to register.

Algorithm of actions:

1. To log in faster, you can use login through social networks or go through standard registration.
2. Select the desired phone number from the available ones and confirm your choice.
3. Go to the social network and request a code to your phone number.
4. Copy the code from the service to the social network page.

The advantage of the service is that this number is issued forever. It can also be used in the future to register for other services. If necessary, you can restore access to VK.

Via Facebook

The developers provide the ability to transfer a profile from FB to VK to foreign users. To determine the country of origin, an IP address ownership test is used. In order for VKontakte to count a user as a foreign citizen, you need to change the IP address. This can be done using a simple browser extension Browsec.

You just need to launch the plugin and the IP will automatically switch to another country. With the extension active, you need to go to the page for registering in VK. The home page will display the option to log in via Facebook. If you don’t have an account on FB, you can register one and all you need is an email.

Restoring a page created in this way will not work or will be quite difficult.

Registration on VKontakte without a phone number is quite doable.
