Update your video card driver

To be honest, it is unlikely that the problem with video playback is with the video card drivers, but it is still worth trying to update them. The same applies to your computer - go to any other sites, not necessarily video hosting sites, and check if there is a connection. If sites open, find any video and play it (not on VKontakte). If your Internet speed is poor, the video will play slowly, stop, or won't load at all. What to do?

• Make sure you don't forget to pay for the network and don't run out of data;
• Turn WiFi on/off;
• Reboot your device;
• Call your provider and find out if there is any technical work being done on the line.

Technical work on the social network site itself

As a rule, during the period of system reboots or testing, the site does not work completely. There is nothing you can do or influence the situation in any way. Blocking by antivirus

If your antivirus program is blocking the download, you might want to listen to it. If you still need this video to play, disable your defender for the time being. You can also add the VK site to exceptions.

Old video card driver

It’s very rare, but the answer to the question “why doesn’t the video load on VKontakte” lies in the video card. Old computers that are more than 7-10 years old are at risk. You need to download a new driver from the official ATI Radeon or NVidia website (depending on what card you have), install it, and then restart your computer.

Clear your browser

Slow Internet connection

Of course, first you need to consider the most trivial possible reasons, for example, slow Internet on your computer. Slow Internet is considered to be that Internet connection whose speed ranges from 128-256 kbit/s or less. You can find out the speed from your provider, and you can also increase it there, if technically possible. If you are facing a problem with slow Internet and cannot solve it yet, we recommend that you try watching videos at a different time of the day, for example, early in the morning, when not many people are using the Internet. In addition, you will not be able to load videos longer than 60 seconds, which will need to be disabled. However, the format must be followed as stated above. As mentioned above, the maximum weight does not have to be observed. Length and size are important. Once you have checked the file format, if it is correct, try publishing it.

Sometimes, in fact, the problem may be other social entities rejecting the video for some mistake, make sure you have a stable connection when downloading the video. If you are unable to load your videos, follow these tips to resolve the issue and fix it.

Flash player update

In fact, Adobe Flash Player is no longer needed to use VKontakte, since the site works using a different technology. However, in VK you can find videos from other resources that will not be played without a flash player. In this case, Flash Player really needs to be either installed, or if it is already installed, then updated. You can do this using the official Adobe website.

Why the video does not play: reasons

Let's briefly list all the possible options for the problem:

1. The most trivial thing that could happen is that your Internet is lost or your connection speed has dropped. If the video in Contact is not played on Android from your phone, you may have run out of traffic according to your tariff;
