We are removing two types of “subscribers” from VKontakte groups: “dogs” and offers. There is no point in keeping them in a group:
- The number of such participants gradually accumulates and distorts the statistics. For example, we consider the average number of reactions that 100 users make per piece of content. A large number of “dogs” and offers would influence the conclusions. Critical for small groups.
- “Dogs” and offers are not clients. If you don’t chase the number of subscribers without taking into account the quality of the audience, feel free to delete it.
Avatars on VK in the form of a dog, what is it?
The problem with dogs on VK avatars for some users is caused by several circumstances:
- In the first case, this is due to the deletion of the page by the user himself. It is common knowledge that being addicted to social networks takes up a lot of time that could be devoted to more productive activities.
- In the second case, the user's page may be temporarily frozen. This usually happens when an outsider gains access to it and commits illegal actions from it, for example, sending advertising messages to people who are on the page owner’s friends list.
- And finally, the final circumstance that causes a dog to appear in place of a once posted page is a gross and repeated violation of the rules of the user of the social network VK. The pages of such users are blocked forever.
How to remove dogs from the page and from the group?
There are two ways to remove pawls.
- Removing all dogs manually, but I think this method is only suitable for groups with few participants. And if the group is very large and the number of dogs is too, then doing it manually can take forever. Therefore, we will not even consider this method.
- Automatic removal using browser extension. This method is very simple and will take very, very little time.
And so let's start removing dogs:
We immediately discard the first method, since it is very long and tedious. Let's move straight to the second method. To remove dogs from the group and from the page, we will use the ViKey Zen extension and go to the Google store. Install the extension by clicking the appropriate button. Then you will see an extension icon on the right side of the panel.
Click on the extension icon and go to the settings page. On this page you need to log in through your VK account. Click the button and give permission to the application. And you can all already use the extension.
You have all the extension installed, now let's proceed to the actual removal of dogs. First, let's remove them from your profile. In the extension menu, select “Delete deleted/blocked friends” in the pop-up window, click OK and the extension shows how many blocked friends you have. You have three removal options:
- — delete deleted/blocked (all dogs are deleted)
- — delete only blocked ones (temporarily blocked accounts are deleted)
- — delete only deleted ones (accounts that have been completely deleted from VK are deleted)
After you have chosen who to delete, click the button "Remove from friends". The deletion will begin. The removal time will depend on the number of blocked accounts.
We carry out a similar operation with the group. Scroll down the page a little and see the item “Remove dead members from the community.” Click on this item and confirm the action. on the next page we select the group in which we want to clean from dogs. Then, just like when deleting from friends, select who you want to delete and click the “Clear subscribers”

How to remove pages with dogs from the list of friends and community members

A very popular browser extension called Tool 42 will help us here. Despite the fact that it is located on the Google website, in the extensions section for the Chrome browser, its functionality is not limited to this browser alone. It can also be installed in other popular browsers, for example, Yandex Browser, Komodo, Opera, Vivaldi, etc.
- After a simple procedure for installing the extension in the browser, you will see a button that was added by the extension.
- By clicking on this button, you will see a page with a minimum of elements. After all, you have not yet logged into your VK account, from which you need to remove all the dogs. To do this, click on the button Log in via VKontakte.
An access request page will appear where you must give permission.
- Now you can take advantage of the functions stated in the extension, including quick removal of all dogs from friends and communities (the latter will be useful for administrators of groups and publics).
To remove dogs from your friends list, use the corresponding item under the name Friends -> Cleaning up friends.On the page that opens, check the boxes next to the Banned and Deleted and confirm the request to complete the procedure.
And if you need to remove dogs from a community, then click on the item – Communities -> Clearing members and then select the group\public that you want to get rid of dogs. And then check the boxes and click on the appropriate button (similar to clearing dogs from your friends list).

Method using a smartphone

- Everything in the application interface is also quite intuitive - select the appropriate item and confirm the action.
- Done, pages with dogs are deleted.
In this simple way, you can instantly rid both the list of your friends and the list of members of the community you administer (group or public) from dogs.
How to remove dogs from a VKontakte group for free
I’ll tell you right away the method is not as simple as it seems. It is good if you will remove a limited number of dogs from the VKontakte group. If the number of subscribers being deleted is large, then it is better to look for paid ways to clean up the group.
To clear a group using this method, you will need an application for VKontakte, such as “Search for “dead” members and subscribers.” Next, on the main page of the application, find the “Launch application” button and click on it.
After which you find yourself inside the VKontakte dog search application. In it, select the group, public or profile you need and click on the “Scan” button.
Next will be the scanning process itself, at the end of which you will see approximately the same diagram as in the picture below. On it you will see the number of “dead” accounts in your group. In this case, all dogs will be divided into two types: blocked and deleted. If you want to completely clean it up, you can delete all the dogs, but personally, I only delete deleted accounts. In order to start cleaning, you need to click on the number of “dead” subscribers.
After this, you will see a list of all “dead” accounts. Select any account and right-click on it. An auxiliary menu appears in front of you in which you need to select “Copy link address”.
Next, go to your group and go to the admin panel “Management” - “Members”. In it you see the line “Search by participants”, hover over it with the mouse and click “Insert”. Then find the “Remove from community” link and click on it.
That's it, after these actions the subscriber will be removed from your community. To remove other dogs, simply follow the same steps.
