Unfortunately, this feature does not work for hyperlinks (although it used to exist), that is, for links leading to an external site. Here, excuse me, you will have to see the entire path from start to finish. The only way to disguise yourself in this case is to use a short link service or create a wiki page instead of the usual way. Then your path will not be visible. But I will write about this later.

But thanks to the built-in feature, you can give verbal links to personal pages, public pages, groups and even individual posts. Let's figure out how to make a link to a person using a word on VKontakte.

The whole process occurs thanks to a simple markup formula. Write a template of this type in any of your messages:

To go to the personal page (personal profile) of any person. That is, you need to write in full the ID that comes immediately after the vk.com address. For example, [id1237908|This is me]. This post will lead directly to my page. And if you replaced your id with a word in the settings, then write it like that, for example [damle|It's me again]. It is worth noting that the code is written manually, but for this you will need to know the name of what you are writing about (friend’s first and last name, community, etc.). By the way, there is no difference between round and square brackets. Write whatever suits your needs or the layout of your laptop.

The anchor hyperlink layout looks like this: [id|link text] or (id|link text). Let's explain with a specific example.

Let's say you want to advertise the culinary community "Who's the boss here?" at the end of my post. To hook the reader, you use the phrase “read here.”

In order to share an external site on VK, you will have to insert a non-anchor link. The application controls the use of third-party resources due to the threat of hacking and viruses.

Restricting the use of anchor hyperlinks in communities, comments and messages saves users from cunning scammers who, we must admit, can carry out their plans without an arbitrary anchor.

The service still offers an automatically selected anchor based on the content of the page that the user adds to his wall or simply shares it in a group or dialogue.

You might often come across a case where, when you go to a site that has already been checked in the browser, VK warns about possible fraud and viruses. This happens when a social network cannot find an anchor for a resource, so it does not know whether it is malicious or completely harmless.

1. Start by writing a post. To create a post, find the publishing window in the “My Page” section.
2. After writing down your main idea, click on “Attach”, then “Note”. You will see an icon for the coupling of two rings (chain), and you should click there.
3. Insert the address of a third-party site.
4. Select the text attached to the link and click on “Hyperlink”.
5. Click on "External Hyperlink" and enter the site address.
6. Save the note and publish the post.

How to make a link an emoji

VKontakte has another way to set a hyperlink - linking it to an emoticon . In this case, clicking on the smiley in the message will redirect you to the required page.

This can be done in the same way as described above, only insert a smile . For example: @ID***(emoticon) .

You cannot link to a third-party site using the methods described above , but there is another option.

First of all, you should decide what the hyperlink will be used for. To put it simply, to transmit information, all you need to do is insert the website address into the message and send it. If you need the beauty of the text, then it is advisable to make the hyperlink look beautiful: remove www and http.
