Delete social media profiles
To delete your Facebook profile, follow this link, enter your username and password if required, and click “Delete Account.” The liquidation process takes up to 14 days.
Before you do this, you may want to download a copy of everything you've ever posted to Facebook onto your disk. To do this, select “Download information”, specify the information you need and click “Create file”. It will take some time. You will then receive a notification and can download all your data from Facebook in HTML format.

You may think that deleting your profile permanently is too radical a step. In this case, click “Deactivate account”. You will have the opportunity to restore it if necessary, but other users will not be able to view your page.
Go to your account settings page and select the “Deactivate your account” option. Then confirm your intention by clicking on the “Disconnect” button.
Before doing this, you may want to download your posts, photos and other information from the social network. To do this, follow the link “Your Twitter details”, enter your password, click “Confirm”, and then click “Request archive” for Twitter and Periscope. The account can be restored within 30 days.
