Sometimes situations arise when you need to copy a page link to VK . For example, to find out when a VK page was created, you should insert a link to your own or someone else’s page in a special line.

Searching for a deleted VKontakte page in the search engine cache

Search engines store their database with information about all sites, including making backup copies of them. Anyone can use them, which allows, among other things, to view information about the page of a remote user on VKontakte.

Important: This method only works if the user has recently deleted his profile from VKontakte. If the page has been deleted for a long time, most likely a search robot visited it again and updated the saved copy.

In the following way, you can view information about a deleted VKontakte page using the Google search engine:

In the search bar, enter the address of the page about which you want to see information;
A list of pages will open, among which the one you are looking for should be the very first. Click on the triangle next to the page link and select the “Saved copy” option from the drop-down list to view the information that was located on the page.

In the Yandex search engine, opening saved copies of VKontakte pages occurs in approximately the same way.

Please note: The social network VKontakte allows users to configure their privacy. In your personal account settings, you can configure the visibility of the page on the network. If this setting specifies that the page is visible to everyone except search sites, then it will not be possible to find saved copies of the page in Google and Yandex, since the search robot is prohibited from crawling such a page.

How to copy a page link in VK

Each account has its own unique link (for example, https://vk.com/dikiy_1985). After vk.com comes the VKontakte page id.

In the left menu, right-click on the “My Page” item and select “Copy link”.

The meaning may differ in different browsers, but the essence is the same (for example, in Google Chrome “Copy link address”);

The link is on the clipboard and can now be pasted into the desired location.

What are the limitations of copies?

I want to make it clear that a copied project, even if it looks exactly like the original, does not mean that all functions will work. The functionality that runs on the server will not work, i.e. various calculators, surveys, selection based on parameters - 99% will not work. If the functionality is implemented using Javascript, it will work.

But it is IMPOSSIBLE to download .php scripts from the server, absolutely NOT. Also, feedback and application forms will not work without manual modifications. Please note that some sites have download protection, in which case you will receive a blank page or an error message.

Registration on hosting and uploading the site

Which hosting to work with is a personal matter for everyone, but I will give all further explanations using the example of https://beget.com/. In general, there are no special differences, so you can choose any other one that is more or less adequate.

We go through a simple registration, fill out all the fields that the hoster asks for and enter your phone number, you will receive an SMS with a registration confirmation code.

From computer

If the address was changed to text, you will find it in the settings. It can be used as original.

If you need to copy a VKontakte post, you can also do this using the address bar. This can also be done by opening a post. The address will then be displayed in the browser. The group link is copied in the same way. But for pictures and photographs the technology is slightly different. You can use two options:

Right-click on the photo and copy the image address to the clipboard.
Click on the image to open it, then select it in the address line and make a copy.

For audio you need to do things differently. Today it is no longer possible to make a copy directly. You can attach music to community posts, messages and comments. To do this, you should use special extensions. We recommend VKOpt. The application needs to be installed and then there will be a button with a download link.

From a mobile device

Today, most people communicate on social networks using a smartphone. To log into VK, they can use a special application. It differs from the website in terms of functionality. The program does not have an address bar. To copy your profile link via phone, you need the following:

Open the utility, and then the side menu.
Find your own profile at the top and click on it.
After opening your page, you need to click on the three dots in the corner on the right.
A menu will appear where you need to click on the item called “Copy link”.

Now you can send a hyperlink to your own profile using a message. You can also use any messenger for this. To copy a link to a post, you need to do the following:

Open the desired entry.
Click on the three dots in the right corner.
In the menu, click on “Copy link”.

All similar actions can be carried out using three points for copies of images and posts in communities.

Viewing a deleted VKontakte page in the browser cache

Important: This method can only be used by those users who want to see the page of a person they previously visited, but who later deleted it.

The method is based on the fact that browsers store copies of sites, which is necessary for them to load faster when necessary. If you visited a user's page some time ago, after which he deleted it, you have the opportunity to view its saved copy in the browser. This can be done in almost any browser; let’s look at Opera as an example :

The first step is to activate offline mode in the browser itself. To do this, you need to open the menu and select “Settings”, then check the “Work offline” option;
Copy the address of the page you want to view information about into your browser's address bar and go to it. If a copy of this page is saved in the browser, it will load.

These are all ways to view information that was previously located on a deleted VKontakte page.

Copy VK links

The process of copying VK links, regardless of the browser and operating system, comes down to a few simple steps related to the clipboard. Moreover, most of the recommendations can be fully applied to any other resources on the Internet.

The main feature of VKontakte addresses, which is not surprising for a social network, is their typing according to a predefined template. That is, the link to any page will be the same in any case, and the only unique difference will be the identifier.

To get the link, open the desired page of the site and hover your mouse over the address bar field.

Select all content manually or use the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl+A”.

You can use the received link by adding it to any text field through the RMB menu and selecting “Insert”.

If convenient, you can get by by pressing the key combination “Ctrl+V”.

Thus, the double ID is unique in that the first block of numbers fully corresponds to the user’s community or page, based on the original location.
