#1 Pictures from your page

We are talking about a block that is located on the main profile page and is available to all guests. By default, 4 pictures are displayed here, sorted by upload date.

To hide files from here, hover your mouse over them;
Click on the pop-up cross in the right corner;
Click on the “Hide” command;

If you click on the “Cancel” button now, the action will be reversed. After updating the page, this will no longer be possible (you will have to delete the photo and upload it again).

Please note that in this block you will have to hide frames manually, one at a time. There is no special function that would allow you to perform the task “in bulk.”

#6 Photos in which you were tagged

If you are tagged in someone's picture, you will receive a notification about it. It happens that a VKontakte user does not like the fact that strangers on someone else’s page will receive information about him through someone’s marks on the uploaded frames.

Go again to “Settings” - “Privacy”;

Find the item “Photos I've been tagged in” and select the desired command, for example, “Some friends” or “Only me.”

In a situation where someone has uploaded your image to their album and you don't want others to see it, write to your friend and ask them to remove it. If a person refuses, contact the VKontakte support service, state the essence of the problem, and remind them about the copyright on your own photographs.

How to hide your VKontakte (VK) page?

The section in the left panel of your VK page is responsible for hiding any information on your page: MY SETTINGS—PRIVACY SETTINGS.

Here you can change any settings for the visibility of your MY PAGE (who can see what and what, write on your page, send private messages, comment, invite to groups, etc.). You can change these settings as many times as you wish.

Everyone: anyone can visit your page (even not a VK user)
Everyone except search sites: anyone can go to the page, but it will be impossible to find you in Yandex or Google by name and surname
Only VKontakte users: only VKontakte users will be able to find you by first and last name, as well as go to the page

By changing the privacy settings you want, you can check how your page now looks to others. To do this, at the very bottom of the privacy settings page, there is a function: you can see how other strangers see your page. Click on this inscription and see what your page looks like to others.

The following message will appear at the top: “Almost everyone sees your page like this. Do you want to know how a certain person sees your page?”

And in the window you can enter a friend’s name or a link to a page, they will show you how this person sees your page.

Is it possible to hide a photo on VK from your phone?

We will answer this question positively; all the same instructions work on a mobile device as were given above for a computer. The only thing missing is the ability to hide frames from the block with photo previews on the main page.

To hide some photos in VK, edit the settings of those in which you were tagged, or perform other actions, you just need to know how to find the necessary sections in the mobile application:

To go to your privacy settings, double-click on the “Profile” icon (shaped like a person in a circle) on the bottom right side of the screen;
Find the gear icon at the bottom;

Find the "Privacy" command.

It is impossible to hide all VKontakte friends, you can hide a maximum of friends, and you can choose who exactly to hide. The “Who is visible in the list of my friends and subscriptions” setting is responsible for this.

Click to the right of it and your friends list will open. And don’t forget to then click Who sees my friends? ONLY ME.

To hide a friend, find him and click the plus sign; if you change your mind or want to make your friend visible, click the cross.
