The easiest way to create a VKontakte page in Russian is to instantly register a new user. To do this, you just need to fill out a form on the official website vk.com: indicate your first name, last name, date of birth and phone number. Registration is very fast.

There are other options for creating a page: through Facebook or Google mail. But in both cases you also need to enter your mobile number. But to register without a number, you will first have to get a virtual phone. This is a one-time number that is used only for activation.

Using a fake number

The essence of this technique is based on the use of a normal phone number in the process of creating a profile. You can take not your number, but friends or relatives. Users are given the opportunity to enter not only a mobile phone, but a landline. A special robot will call your phone and indicate the registration code. This is a more advantageous method, as it allows you to register a large number of profiles and pages using just one phone.

Important! This method is quite risky; if information from an account is lost, it is not easy to completely restore it.

Experts advise using a similar technique if you plan to activate an additional, but not the main profile.

Method 1: standard registration

1. Go to the VK main page at vk.com.

2. In the lower right corner of the site we print the first name, last name, and indicate the date of birth. Then click “Register”.

3. We print your mobile phone number with the mobile operator code. Click “Get code”.

4. Within a minute, a free SMS message with a code will be sent to the specified phone number. We print it in a special column and click the “Send code” button.

If you didn't receive the code, click on the "I didn't receive the code" link. If this does not help, check whether the mobile number is correct. It can be changed by clicking on the inscription “Specify another number”.

5. Type the password and click “Log in to the site.” The password must consist of English letters and numbers without spaces.

It is advisable to assign a complex password: longer than seven characters, among which there are letters of different sizes - large and small. And don't forget to write it down in a safe place!

That's all - VK registration is completed! Now you have a new page on the Contact social network.

You can configure it by clicking on “Continue” or do it later by clicking on “Skip”.

Registration via mail - how it happened and why it was canceled

Looking ahead a little, we must tell you that registration via email in VK no longer works. Why and what to do about it, read on. You can stock up on popcorn and make yourself comfortable – it will be interesting and educational!

Since the advent of this popular social network, users have created from 1 to several dozen pages for various purposes. Some of them are for sending spam, impersonating other people and other unseemly purposes.

Previously, it was easier to do this thanks to the ability to register via mail, that is, if you had 4 email addresses, you could easily create 4 pages for yourself on VK.

This flow of users and spammers put a significant load on the service, as a result of which it often froze, worked slowly, or even malfunctioned.

The administration decided to change the registration rules for new users in 2012, when it became clear that the service would no longer be able to work the way it worked before.

Since 2012, the ability to register using a postal address has been abolished forever. It has been replaced by registration through a mobile number, since having several active SIM cards is more difficult than having several active email addresses.

How the process of registering in VK via email used to go:

• To begin with, you needed to log in to the VKontakte website.
• Then select the “Register” option.
• The site asked users to write their first, last and patronymic names.
• The site then asked for an active email address.
• The user entered his address.
• A confirmation code was sent to the specified email.
• This code was entered in a special field in VK.
• Then it was necessary to create a login and password for subsequent login to the site.
• The site required re-entering the password to confirm it.
• The user was then asked to upload their own photo and other personal data to their profile.
• At this point, the registration stage was completed and you could use your own page.

The administration also introduced a restriction for already registered users: after the update, all users had to enter their phone numbers.

Or every action was accompanied by the introduction of a captcha: sending every message, putting every like, writing every comment, logging into the site, adding friends, etc. It was easier to enter your number once than to enter a captcha every minute.

Method 2: via Facebook

If you have a profile on the social network Facebook, you can register in VK for it. But the page will still have to be confirmed by phone number.

1. Open the website facebook.com in one tab, and vk.com in the second tab.

Your page should load in the Facebook tab. If this does not happen, sign in.

2. On the VK website in the lower right corner, click on the “Continue with Facebook” button.

3. A small confirmation window will appear. Click on the “Continue” button.

4. The data import page will load. Here you need to print your mobile phone with the operator code and click “Get code”.

If a message appears that login failed, click the “sign out” link in the upper right corner and repeat steps 2-4.

5. Type the confirmation code from SMS into the window and click “Send code”.

6. We come up with a password to enter your new page, save it in a safe place and click on the “Login to the site” button.

It is advisable to specify a strong password: at least seven characters, consisting of numbers, large and small English letters.

7. A message indicating successful registration will appear. This means the page is ready and you can use it.

Entering personal data

1. “Country of school”, “City of school” - the location of the educational institution where you studied.

2. “School”: you can select the name from the drop-down list (it displays all schools in the city you specified) or simply indicate only the school number.

3. Indicate the year of graduation and the class in which you studied (A, B, C, etc.).

4. On the same page, you can immediately add your classmates as friends (they will appear automatically in the lower block “You may know these people”). Click the corresponding button located next to your friend’s avatar.

5. Click the “Go to next step” button.

6. In the same way, provide information about the university where you studied: fill in the fields “Country”, “City”, “University”, “Year of graduation”, “Faculty”, “Department”. If you wish, add classmates as friends whom the social network system found during the data entry process.

7. On the next page, VKontakte invites the new user (that is, you) to find friends in other social networks: Facebook, Google (via Gmail and Google+ email), Odnoklassniki, Twitter. If you do not want to use this function, click the “Go to my page” link.

Method 3: via Google mail

You can also create a new page in Contact via e-mail. But only if you have mail on Google (gmail.com). In addition, you will still have to provide your phone number.

1. In one tab, open your mail at gmail.com, and in the second, open the mobile version of the VK website at m.vk.com.

2. Under the “Register” button, click on the “Google” link.

3. Select your account.

4. Click on “Allow”.

5. Print your first and last name. Click “Continue”.

6. Confirm registration: print your mobile number with the operator code and click “Get code”.

7. Enter the code from SMS and click on “Send code”.

8. Come up with a password to log in, then click “Register”. The password must consist of English letters and numbers.

Your new VK page will load. To go to the full version of the site, click on “Full Version” at the bottom left.

Not every social network user realizes the importance of linking a profile to a phone. Using this feature provides the following benefits:

How to register without a phone number

You can register in Contact without a phone number. For this purpose, there is such a service on the Internet as a virtual number. This is a temporary phone without a SIM card. You can receive an SMS with an activation code, and this is exactly what we need to create a new page.

The principle is as follows:

1. We get a virtual phone number;
2. We print it when registering in VK;
3. We receive an SMS with a code and enter it on the website.

Virtual numbers can be free or paid. But in both cases, you need to take into account that these are only temporary phones. This means that if you have problems logging in in the future, it will be difficult to regain access to the page.

Free virtual numbers

There are services where they give out free phones for receiving SMS. They come in several types:

• Sites with public numbers are pages where currently available telephone numbers are published. These are resources such as freeonlinephone.org, receivesmsonline.net, receive-sms-online.com, sms.sellaite.com, onlinesim.ru and others. Everything is simple there: you click on the number, and a list of SMS messages that were sent to it opens.
• Sites with registration - you must first register on them and after that a number for SMS will be indicated in your personal account. And here, in your personal account, you can read received messages. These are resources such as twilio.com, sonetel.com, pinger.com and textnow.com.
• Android applications are phone programs that allocate virtual numbers to users. To get a free number, you need to install the application on your Android smartphone and register in it. The most popular applications: Swytch, Telos, Text Me.

In practice, I tried every free site and every application. I spent several days on this, but never received the treasured SMS with the code.

Some of the numbers are busy, that is, pages are already registered on them. For some reason Contact does not accept other phones. And they don’t receive the third SMS. I see only one option: monitor sites with public numbers and, as soon as a new phone appears, quickly register a page for it.

Note: if you read other instructions for registering on VKontakte without a phone number, they often recommend the pinger.com service. Previously, it was actually possible to register through it, but this method has not worked for a long time. Either the issued number does not work, or SMS messages are not being received.

Paid virtual numbers

You can buy a one-time virtual number on the Internet. This is a temporary phone that is issued online for a certain period of time (usually 15-20 minutes). You can receive a code for creating a VK account.

Step-by-step instruction

Right now I will show you how to create a new VKontakte page on a computer without a phone - through a virtual number. I will do this using the SMS Activate service as an example.

Open the website sms-activate.ru and in the upper right corner click on Login/Registration.

We fill out the registration form. Here you need to enter your email and come up with a password to log into the service.

We go to the mail, open the confirmation letter and follow the link in it.

After this, your email address should appear in the upper right corner of the site. If it doesn't appear, log in.

On the left side of the site, select the country. This determines what number the system will issue and how much it will cost. It is better to take the number of the country where you are located. If in Russia, then the Russian number, if in Ukraine, then the Ukrainian number.

The cheapest rooms are Chinese. But I do not recommend using them, since Contact often blocks such phones.

The list of services will show the cost and number of available rooms.

If there are no phones in stock (0 pcs.), you will have to wait. New ones appear approximately every two hours. The time of their appearance is written at the top of the site.

Click on the inscription “0 rub.” in the upper right corner of the site and select “Top up balance”.

Select a payment method and indicate the room rate. After crediting the money, click on the VKontakte line in the left column and click “Buy”.

A line with a phone number will appear. Let's copy it.

In a new browser tab, open the vk.com website and fill out the standard registration form.

Select the phone country from the list and insert the resulting number. If the country code is duplicated, delete it. Then click “Get code”.

We return to the Sms-Activate service tab and click on the green checkmark button.

We are waiting for the SMS to arrive. The code will arrive within a minute in the “Code from SMS” column.

Go to the VKontakte tab, print the received code and click “Send code”.

We come up with a password to log into our VK page.

Be sure to save your password - without it you will not be able to log into the site later.

That's it - the page is ready!

Again, go to the Sms-Activate tab and click on the button with the bird.

Be sure to save the phone number you were given. It is through it that you will then access your page.

To view the number, you need to go to the “History” section in your personal account of the service.

How to protect a page from hacking

VKontakte pages are often hacked by hackers. This happens due to user inattention and too simple passwords.

From hacked pages, hackers send out advertisements, get likes, and in the worst case, do shady things. For example, they extort money from the victim’s friends and relatives.

No one is safe from hacking, even if the profile is empty and rarely used. This will not stop hackers, so it is very important to protect your page.

Set up your profile. To do this, click on the name in the upper right corner of the site and select “Settings”.

In the "General" section:

1. Add your email;
2. Change the page address;
3. Assign a complex password.

Complex is a password that consists of 12 characters, large and small letters, and numbers.

Then go to the "Privacy" section and adjust the visibility of the data on the page. I recommend setting the following settings:

• Who can post on my page: Friends and friends of friends
• Who can comment on my posts: Friends and friends of friends
• Who can call me in apps: Only friends
• Who can invite me to communities: Only friends
• Who can invite me to apps: Friends only

If you registered the page using your personal mobile number, it is advisable to enable login confirmation in the “Security” section.

Record the data from your page. They will come in handy for any access problems.

Save the following information:

• Link to page. It can be found in “Settings”;
• Phone number attached to the page and email. This is also in “Settings”;
• First name, last name, date of birth indicated on the page;
• Login password.

Log out of your profile on other people's devices. The contact is configured in such a way that login information is automatically remembered. That is, every time you enter the site, your personal page opens by itself.

This means that all the “internal” capabilities of the social network are available to anyone who gains access to a computer (tablet, smartphone).

Any person who logs into VKontakte from your device will be able to read correspondence, add or delete friends, photos, videos, music, and edit personal data. In general, he will be able to do everything that you can do with your page.

To prevent this from happening, you need to log out of your profile. To do this, click on your name in the upper right corner and select “exit” from the list.

It is especially important to log out of your profile on someone else’s computer or phone.

Then the Internet program will forget your data, and the next time you open the site, your personal page will no longer load. But it will still remain on the site - to enter it you will need to enter your login information (phone or email, password).

Check the site address before entering your page. There is such a thing on the Internet as “phishing sites.” These are sites that look very similar to Contact, but they have nothing to do with the social network. Fraudsters deliberately create such pages so that users mistakenly enter their login information there.

You can distinguish a real Contact from a fake one by its address. It is written in the top line of the browser. The real VKontakte website will have the following address: vk.com

If the address is different, then you have landed on a fraudulent site. Do not enter your data there under any circumstances!
