Today there are many ways to delete a page on VK. In this article you will learn the most popular and easiest option to say goodbye to your page once and for all.
The reasons for deleting your account are different for everyone. Someone may want to attract more attention to themselves, someone is fed up with endless and annoying messages mixed with a ton of spam, for someone the social network interferes with work/study, and they don’t have the strength to break away on their own. How to delete a page on VK
- First of all, you need to log in to your page.
- In the upper right corner, next to the round avatar thumbnail, click on "down arrow". In the pop-up menu we are interested in the item "Settings".
- At the very bottom of the general settings there is a function for deleting a page. Click "delete your page".
How to delete a VKontakte page forever
We go to your VKontakte page, after which you will see your photo and your first and last name in the upper right corner.

On the settings page that opens, we automatically get to the very first option “General” (Fig. 2):

When you see the “delete your page” link, don’t rush to rejoice at being free from the network; you still need to settle some formalities:
- give some reason for your decision
- and decide whether you will notify your friends that you are leaving VKontakte.
So, click on the active blue link “delete your page” on VKontakte (Fig. 2). The “Delete page” window will open (Fig. 3):

2 in Fig. 3 – If you leave a checkmark next to “Tell friends”, then the message that you selected as the reason for deletion will appear on your VK page (Fig. 6). For example, a note appeared on my VK page: “I once created this page for my mother, but now she registered herself.” If you uncheck the box next to “Tell friends,” then no messages will appear on your page, and you will leave the social network silently, as they say, without saying goodbye.

All that remains is to click the “Exit” button (Fig. 4) in the upper right corner and start a new life.
As can be seen in Fig. 4, you can restore a deleted VKontakte page within approximately 7 (seven) months after its deletion, more precisely, 210 days. After the specified date, the page will be deleted from the VKontakte server. True, users have no way to verify the complete deletion of a page, so they have to take the word of the VK developers.
How to delete a page on VK via phone
If you don’t have a computer at hand, and you need to leave VKontakte right now, you can delete your profile via your phone. Unfortunately, the developers have not added the function of deleting a page to the VKontakte mobile application. To accomplish this task, you must use any mobile browser, for example: Yandex browser.
- So, open the browser, go to the main page of VKontakte - vk.com and log in.
Please note that the browser automatically added the letter “M” to the address bar, which means the mobile version of the site.
- Click the icon gears, meaning menu "Settings".
- Select an item "Account" and scroll to the very bottom.
- At the very bottom we look for the line "delete your page"
- Select any reason for deletion and press the button "Delete page."
- Ready! The VKontakte profile was deleted, the avatar was changed to a sad dog, and a time limit appeared during which the profile can be restored.
Just like in the computer version, the page can be restored through a mobile browser.

Of course, some of this information is really needed for the stable operation of some services and further improvement of the application. If you are faced with a situation where you need to delete a page on the VK social network, but you do not have access to it, you can solve the problem.
There are two ways to delete a VK page permanently - by restoring access and then deleting it yourself or by contacting support.

If you use a request to the VK support service, then you will have to perform the following steps:
- follow the link https://vk.com/support?act=new;
- write a request to delete your page, indicate a link to it and attach a scan of two photographs: the first should be an image of a passport or any document proving your identity, the second should be a photo of your face against the background of a request for technical support.
Sending photos is a prerequisite for the company to be confident that you are not a scammer and are voluntarily expressing a desire to delete your account. This is part of the VKontakte security principles.
Please note that you will not be able to delete a fake account, that is, one in which the user’s first and last name does not match your real data. But in this case, you can use the first method - through recovery.
And no one will delete the VK page if you simply write such a request. Any request must have proof of your identity as evidence for profile deletion.
How to delete a VK account without a computer
Deleting a page on VK without using a computer is possible if you have a profile in the mobile version on an Android or iOS gadget.
Please note that through the official VKontakte mobile application you will not be able to delete a VK page from your phone, but from the smartphone itself this is done through the browser.
When you log into your VK account in the browser, expand the page settings.
Next, scroll to the very bottom, where you will see the line “You can delete your page.” Click on it.
After this, a dialog box will open in which you select the reason for deletion or write your version in the appropriate field. You can also check or uncheck the box next to the “Tell your friends about deleting your page” command.
Confirm all actions by clicking on the delete page button. For now, the social network only temporarily restricts access to your page and gives you six months to store a copy of all data. This is provided in case you change your mind and want to restore it. The site will indicate the date of final account deletion.
Remember that if you register a new profile and indicate in it a link to the phone number used in the old, already deleted page, you will not be able to restore it.

How to recover a deleted VKontakte page
If you want to restore a deleted page on the VKontakte social network, then you need to perform the following steps:
- log into your account by entering your username and password;
- click the “Restore” button, which will appear immediately on your page;
- press this button and wait a few seconds, after which your account will be restored and you can again access all data and use your profile as before before deletion.

Let's look at how to delete VK via phone using the Android operating system as an example.
1) Open VKontakte on your phone through a browser (do not confuse the browser with the VK application). That is,
- open a browser on your phone,
- enter m.vk.com in the browser address bar,
- then enter your VK login and password.
2) On your VK page, open the menu in the form of small steps:

3) In the menu you need to go down to the end of the page and there find “Settings” of your VK page:

6) At the end of the “Account” page we find the necessary “delete your page” button. By clicking on it, you will also have to indicate some reason for deleting the page, and also decide about notifying friends (Fig. 3 above).
