How to change your avatar using a computer?

In order to change your avatar you need:

1. Go to your personal page in the full version of VK
2. Hover over avatar
3. The “Update photo” button will appear, click on it

4. In the new window, click on “Select file”

   
   Select a file to upload as an avatar

5. Select a photo from the library
6. Select thumbnail

7. Click on “Save and Continue”

The thumbnail is the part of the photo that will be displayed in news, private messages and comments.
